Providing community-oriented outdoor opportunities.
Through the support of community members, school staff, and parents, we have created Kids on the Go, a free after-school program that has served over 100 4th and 5th graders. We are looking forward to continuing this wonderful program!
Additionally, in 2024 we are working to create a shared Gear Library to create more opportunities for families to get outside and play.

The Community Gear Library
We are creating a Community Gear Library that will rotate through the Maranacook area and allow for the free borrowing of outdoor equipment.
Kids on The Go!
Kids on the Go is a free afterschool program for 4th and 5th graders in the Maranacook area. It allows students to engage with their peers in fun outdoor learning!
The Mt. Vernon After School Program
A low-cost, daily after-school program at Mt. Vernon Elementary School.
