The Community Gear Library rotates through the Maranacook area and allows for the free borrowing of outdoor equipment.

The cost of equipment is a significant barrier for families trying to get outside and enjoy local recreational opportunities, especially with growing kids. The gear library provides access to equipment such as snowshoes, ice skates, skis. We are currently in the process of adding bikes to our gear library!
